What we are not selling you
We are not promising you leads, phone calls, jobs, or a position in anyone's search results. We do not control what Google does and neither does anyone who tells you they do. What we sell is placement and a richer profile on this site, plus the numbers to judge whether that was worth a hundred dollars. If it is not, cancel.
Questions contractors ask
What does a free claim get me?
Control of the facts. You can correct your phone number, address, service area, and service list, and add your email and the credentials you want shown. Claiming costs nothing and never expires.
How do you confirm I actually run the company?
You verify from the phone number already published on your listing, or from an email address at your company domain. Every claim then gets read by a person before anything changes. We do this because a directory whose listings can be edited by anyone is worthless.
What does a featured listing include?
A placement in the featured block on the homepage, which is the most-visited page on the site; an expanded profile with your service detail, credentials, and photos; a Verified Featured badge wherever your listing appears; and a monthly report of how many people viewed your profile and tapped your phone number.
Why only five?
There are five slots on the homepage for the entire site, not five per city. Six would make the block into an ad stack and the badge meaningless. When all five are taken, the next company goes on a waiting list rather than being sold a slot that dilutes the ones already there.
Do you sell leads?
No. There is no matching form on this site and no shared contact form. Homeowners get your phone number and your website and contact you directly. Nothing routes through us and nothing routes through a third party.
Can I pay for better placement in the directory or on a city page?
No, and this is not a soft no. Featured placement buys you the homepage block and nothing else. Ordering in the directory and on every city, county, and service page is by how completely a listing is documented against published sources — nothing else. You can improve your position by publishing more detail on your own site, which is good for you regardless of us.
How ordering works
Every listing surface on this site — the directory, and every city, county, and service page — is ordered by verification depth alone. That is a simple count of how many fields on the listing are confirmed against a published source. A company that publishes its address, tenure, service list, and service area ranks above one whose website is a single page with a phone number, because the homeowner can act on the first listing and cannot act on the second.
Featured placement sits outside that ordering entirely. The five featured companies appear in a marked block on the homepage, and buying one does not move you up a city page, a county page, a service page, or the directory. We separated the two deliberately: the moment money can reorder the listings, the ordering stops being information and becomes an auction.
